Dec 5, 2016 · Dec 4, 2016. #1. In an attempt to fix a leaky pump (see my other thread), I've run into an issue. I took the pump off and replaced the main wearable parts that come in the kit. I did not remove the large c-clip that relates the timing, as I understand it. Basically the front seal, head o-ring, miscellaneous o-rings and gasket on the top cover etc.. You have a two stage clutch and sometimes it's hard to balance the drive clutch and the PTO clutch because they frequently wear at different rates.
