Large Cooler Cold Plunge. I tried building a deep freezer cold plunge, but unfortunately the used deep freezer I bought was not effective. The water would remain at 17 C regardless of how long I had it on. I am considering using just a large cooler (400 Grizzly or 350 Yeti) for my next attempt.

I’m 5”11 155 lbs and my deep freezer is 14.8 cu ft. To be honest I can’t imagine trying to fit into something half that size. It may be possible but you’d have to definitely hug your knees to your chest to squeeze in probably. A month later: I love this thing. I can say that the seven foot chest freezer works great.
