After carrying it for a week and shooting our qualification for off duty weapons. I can say it's a pleasure to carry and shoot. I thought the recoil would be a little stout, but it wasn't bad at all.The hammer was proabley up in the fired position when you tried to install the slide. The hammer must be down when you install the slide. About to problem with the barrel rubbing aganist the slide.
